FAQ
How often will you release plushies or fidgets?
It will vary, but I will aim to release new plushies or fidgets every three-four weeks. This will provide me with the necessary time to prepare and ship out all handmade orders.
Will you restock certain plushies or fidgets?
Unless the plushie or fidget is exclusive, most plushies or fidgets will often be restocked. Occasionally, some designs will be replaced with newer versions with different color schemes. However, some retired plushies or fidgets will come back based on popular demand.
Do you do custom design orders?
Yes I do! But, custom orders are made on demand and with consultation with the customer therefore, creation timelines, costs, and shipping will be different than my everyday timelines. My time is limited and so I only take on approximately five at a time, depending on my work schedule, time of year, and other commitments that I currently have (i.e. in-person markets).
You can apply to have a custom design here. The link will close when five submissions are made. I will rerelease links after all previous custom orders have been completed.
Are there any discount codes?

I received the wrong item, or the item is damaged.
Since I design and cut all of my own items, I do on occasion make mistakes and I apologize in advance for that. With that being said, I want you to be happy with your purchase...so please send an email to degerdesignstudio@gmail.com with screenshots of the mistake, and I will work to fix the issue.
Can I cancel my order?
In general, cancellations of orders once placed are not guaranteed as they begin processing immediately after placement. You may contact customer support at degerdesignstudio@gmail.com for assistance.
Cancellations done after payment submission using Paypal will be refunded less a 3-4% fee based on location. (New policy starting April 2019 due to changes in Paypal terms and conditions)
How long will it take to receive my order?
Processing times usually are processed the week after a non-release week but are 1-2 weeks during new releases or restocks of popular items. This also may vary based on time available between keeping my children alive and working as a professor at a university. I will try to keep you all up-to-date with processing of orders.
Who should I contact about issues with my order?

What is the standard turnaround time for shipping my order?
On average, orders ship 1-2 weeks after an order is placed. However, orders placed during new releases and sales at times can take 2-3 weeks for shipment. Please note, during high volume periods, the shipping labels are printed in advance and movement on the packages can be seen 1-3 business days after tracking is emailed.
Where is my order?
Please refer to your tracking number for up to date information on shipping status. I currently use the USPS as my solo shipping carrier - if there are further issues with your tracking, please contact USPS for assistance. Please note there are occasionally unforeseen delays and interruptions with service that may affect expected arrival time. DegerDesignStudio is not responsible for delayed packages, including those who have opted for priority mail shipment, especially with the delays caused by the global pandemic.
Lost packages
If a package has not been marked delivered, policy is to wait at least 4 weeks from the date the package was shipped until the package is declared lost. After this point, you may contact support at degerdesignstudio@gmail.com.
If your order has not been received 30 days after tracking has been sent, please contact customer service to inquire. If no contact has been made within 60 days of package shipment, we will be unable to assist.
Please note that The Crocheting Professor is NOT responsible for international packages that have been held by or lost by your country's local customs/post office. If your package has been marked delivered yet you have not received it, please contact your local post office to resolve.
I placed my order and need to change my address.
Please make sure that your address is correct before checking out as it will not be changed after a regular order is placed. Most orders begin processing immediately after order placement.
